Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Seekonk, MA seeks an entry-level Team Member for the Prepared Foods department. You will assist with production, labeling, stocking, and customer service, while upholding store standards and policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
• Ensure all prepared foods are properly labeled, dates, initialed, covered, and rotated.
• Ensure product meets WFM guidelines for quality and preparation.
• Document waste and spoilage using appropriate forms.
• Ensure product production is performed using correct measuring devices and all recipes are followed.
• Help customers understand the difference between WFM products and products at conventional stores.
• Keep walk-ins and freezers clean and well-organized.
• Arrive to work station on time, groomed, and ready to work; attend required trainings.
• Provide excellent customer service and use suggestive selling techniques; answer phones and pages promptly.
• Maximize sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follow procedures including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment; maintain equipment per standards.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties; ensure signs and pricing are accurate.
• Immediately report safety hazards and violations.
