Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Santa Clarita, CA is seeking entry-level Team Members to perform preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking duties while delivering courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members.

You will follow SOPs, learn on the floor, support store programs, and help maintain cleanliness and safety. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, flexible scheduling, and a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Thorough product knowledge and ability to explain WFM products.
• Capable of producing recipes per shift based on batch size.
• Ability to communicate market conditions to customers.
• Understanding spoilage and waste and how it affects department profits.
• Strong teamwork and communication; deliver information clearly.
• Commitment to WFM quality goals and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assists with production for Prepared Foods venues.
• Labels, dates, initials, covers, and rotates prepared foods.
• Ensures products meet quality and preparation guidelines.
• Documents waste and spoilage using forms.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling.
• Maintains clean and safe work areas; reports safety hazards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; checks signs and pricing.
