Mother’s Market in Newport Beach is seeking a Prepared Foods Manager to lead teams across the kitchen, deli, and juice bar, ensuring exceptional quality, service, and operations.

You’ll supervise and coach staff, hire and train, and drive a culture of excellence while managing food safety, inventory, and costs. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and a hands-on approach to develop teams and guest experiences.

Qualificações

• 2+ years managing food service operations (preferred 3–5 in similar settings)
• High school diploma or GED required; culinary or hospitality diploma is a bonus
• Strong food safety knowledge and portion control

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and coach staff in the Kitchen, Juice Bar, and Deli
• Hire, train, evaluate, and discipline team members to maintain performance
• Create a positive culture with recognition and feedback
• Ensure food prep meets portioning, plating, and presentation standards
• Manage inventory, place orders, minimize waste, and control costs
• Maintain sanitation, safety, and health regulations for inspections
• Oversee budgets, labor costs, payroll records, and vendor relations
• Serve as primary contact for customer issues and resolve complaints
