Weavers Way Co-op in Philadelphia's Mt. Airy location is seeking a friendly Prepared Foods Cook (Deli Clerk) to join our team. This full-time role focuses on producing prepared foods, presenting items for sale, and delivering excellent customer service in a busy cooperative grocery setting.

Flexibility for mornings and weekends is required. The position emphasizes teamwork, safe food handling, and quality in sandwiches and salads, with opportunities to engage with our local community and vendors.

Qualifications

• Commitment to Weavers Way Co-op mission and goals.
• Prior experience with deli or prepared foods desired.
• Experience in producing high-quality sandwiches and salads is a plus.
• Proficient knife skills and safe food handling knowledge.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow directions.

Responsabilités

• Produce prepared foods according to daily lists and recipes, pre-wrap and label items.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation and clean-up after service.
• Occasional weekend shifts as required by management.
• Observe all Weavers Way policies and procedures.
• Attend departmental and all-staff meetings as needed.
• Assist with inventories and other duties as assigned by the prepared foods manager.
