Weavers Way Co-op in Chestnut Hill, PA, is seeking a Dishwasher/Prepared Foods Cook. This full-time role offers 35+ hours weekly with schedule Mon & Wed 9 am - 3 pm, Thurs 9 am - 4 pm, Fri & Sat 9 am - 5 pm. Ideal candidates have team experience and a passion for great customer service.

You will prepare foods, maintain kitchen sanitation, and support the department with inventory and daily operations, while adhering to health standards and Weavers Way policies.

Qualifications

• Proficient knife skills.
• Direct customer service experience.
• Knowledge of safe food handling.
• Exhibited ability to work well in a team setting.
• Be or become a member in good standing of Weavers Way Co-op.

Responsibilities

• Produce prepared foods according to daily operations list and established recipes, pre-wrap, and label items for sale.
• Responsible for kitchen sanitation and clean up.
• Weekend work requirements as determined by manager.
• Observe all Weavers Way policies and procedures.
• Attend departmental and all-staff meetings.
• Assist with quarterly inventories.
• Complete evaluations as assigned.
• Read the day book each shift and other communications as released.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Fresh Foods Manager or Manager on Duty.
• Ensure all dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized according to Department of Health standards.
• Sort and replenish clean dishes in their designated areas.
• Dispose of trash in designated containers.
• Light maintenance of kitchen and dish equipment while reporting any malfunctions to management.
