The role requires friendly communication, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy, customer-focused environment. Experience in culinary or food service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications include culinary or food service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write with comprehension.
• Proper phone etiquette while taking orders and messages.
• Ability to effectively communicate with peers.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and packages product as directed.
• Assists customers with orders placed.
• Properly prices merchandise.
• Stocks and rotates merchandise as directed.
• Maintains current knowledge of product.
• Maintains clean and organized work area free of hazards.
• Provides exceptional customer service in a timely and professional manner.
• Abides by Westborn Market’s time and attendance policy.
• Keeps a positive and helpful attitude during length of shift.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Samples product at the direction of the department manager.
