Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Team Member to support our Prepared Foods team in Los Angeles. You will help with preparation, service, sanitation, stocking, and engaging customers to ensure a positive shopping experience.

You will rotate stock, check dates for freshness, and contribute to a clean, safe, and friendly store environment while delivering courteous, efficient service and demonstrating our core values.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand/walk for 6-8 hours per shift.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• No prior retail experience required.
• Strong customer service and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, prepares, and serves hot and cold foods and sandwiches.
• Samples products to customers and assists with inquiries.
• Stocks cases and displays; rotates stock for freshness.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation; adheres to safety standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; reports hazards.
• Delivers courteous, efficient service and supports team goals.
