Job summary

Adorama Rental Company is seeking a Camera Prep Technician to support efficient preparation of camera packages and related gear for clients. You will supervise gear checkout, troubleshoot on-site issues, and maintain in-depth knowledge of cinema cameras and optics while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role requires on-set experience, the ability to work extended hours as needed, and a proactive, process-improving mindset.

Qualifications

• On-set experience as a Camera Assistant or a Camera Prep Technician at a Rental House or Production Co.
• Extensive knowledge of and experience with digital cinema cameras and optics.
• Willingness to work until job is complete, extended hours as needed.
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to work well under pressure.
• Passion for filmmaking and filmmakers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise checking out camera packages and all other rented equipment.
• Accurately and efficiently preparing camera equipment and accessories requests from clients.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment during preps.
• Have and maintain a working knowledge of Cinema/ Photographic/Video/Lighting equipment.
• Assist with customers and all internal departments to deliver the highest customer service.
• Efficacy in communicating and dealing with high profile clients.
• Continuously look for ways to improve the processes to better serve our client’s needs.
• Maintain a friendly and professional appearance.

What You'll Do

Pay range for this role:

$29 - $34 USD
