Clean Eatz Orland Park is looking for a reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented Prep Cook / Café Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This role blends healthy meal production for weekly plans with made-to-order café service.

The candidate will follow established recipes, support meal production, maintain cleanliness and organization, and assist with inventory and kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, line cooking or food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and standardized cooking procedures.
• Comfortable with meal production and made-to-order café service.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Dependable, punctual and a team player.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Food Handler Certification preferred or willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Meal Production & Preparation: prepare ingredients and cook proteins, vegetables, grains and other menu items per recipes.
• Assist with weekly meal production: portion, assemble, package and label meals.
• Follow standardized recipes to maintain consistency.
• Organize ingredients and prep for upcoming production schedules.
• Café Cooking: prepare and cook made-to-order café meals; work on the cooking line during service.
• Maintain food quality, presentation and portion sizes; manage multiple orders with speed and accuracy.
• Open, close and clean kitchen stations.
• Kitchen Operations: follow food safety, sanitation and storage procedures; keep stations clean and stocked.
• Assist with inventory rotation and receiving deliveries; collaborate with team.
