Prep/Line Cook

One Lincoln Park in Dayton, OH is looking to hire a Full‑time Prep/Line Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in providing service to our residents. In addition to preparing meals in our restaurant‑style kitchen, responsibilities include following safety and quality procedures, maintaining a clean working environment, and working collaboratively with team members.

The ideal candidate is dependable, experienced Prep/Line Cook who enjoys working in a fast‑paced team environment.

A Day in the Life of a Prep/Line Cook

As a Prep/Line Cook, you work in our kitchen, preparing meals for our residents. You cook a range of cuisines, from elegant fine dining to our more casual bistro‑style offerings. You accommodate special menu needs and a la carte requests, meeting our residents' dietary requirements with acute attention to detail. You exercise your culinary creativity and help us develop and implement menus. You prioritize safety and quality, maintaining sanitation standards and keeping your station clean.

Our kitchen is a fast‑paced environment, and you plan ahead and stay on top of your tasks. You communicate effectively with your team and our residents, always maintaining a high level of professionalism and respect.

Work Schedule for a Prep/Line Cook

This full‑time culinary position works from 11 a.m.—7 p.m., five days a week, with weekend availability.
