Job summary

Just Salad is seeking PrepStaff to join our back-of-house team under the Kitchen Team Leader. You will focus on following recipes, upholding food quality, and supporting environmental initiatives as part of our mission to make healthy, sustainable eating accessible.

PrepStaff will report to the Kitchen Team Leader and Chef, with early-morning shifts required. We offer paid training, growth opportunities, and a supportive culture as part of a fast-casual brand with locations across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Moving continuously during a shift.
• Climb stairs.
• Maintain a high degree of pace and intensity.
• Read, comprehend and follow spec book and recipes.
• Clearly and professionally communicate with Restaurant Team Leader, Kitchen Team Leader and other team members.
• Follow all Just Salad Safety and Health Department Policies, Procedures and Standards

Responsibilities

• Prepare all Just Salad items according to recipe cards and specs.
• Correct usage of oven, per recipes.
• Make sure all products are day dotted as prepared.
• Follow and understand all sanitation procedures.
• Wear a cut glove whenever using a knife.
• Clean/organize the walk-in refrigerator.
• Complete prep in required time to come to work on front line.
• Keep kitchen area clean and organized

PrepStaff Reports to:Store’s Kitchen Team Leader and/or Chef

We are looking for people who:

PrepStaff’s Daily Responsibilities:

• Prepall JS items to recipe cards and specs
• Correct usage of oven, per recipes
• Makes sure all products day dotted as prepared
• Follow and understand all sanitation procedures
• Wears a cut glove whenever using a knife
• Clean/organize the walk-in refrigerator
• Completeprepin required time to come to work on front line
