Bon Appétit Management Company in Savannah, GA is hiring immediate full-time and part-time Prep Cook positions at SCAD, 231 West Boundary Street. Days and hours vary; weekend and evening availability required.

As a Prep Cook, you will prepare items from production sheets, follow recipes, and maintain HACCP standards to ensure food safety.

This role offers shift premium for weekends/evenings and opportunities to contribute to a fast-paced culinary team.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking, food service, and food safety experience is required.
• Days and hours may vary; weekend and evening availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain daily production schedule and prep requirements from the Chef.
• Prepare items on production sheets following quantities and recipes.
• Completes and follows daily production worksheets and waste logs; tastes meals for quality.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items; follows HACCP guidelines.
• Completes required documentation, reports, logs as required.
• Complies with health and sanitation regulations and procedures.
• Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short prep time.
• Serves customers efficiently at multiple stations.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards for quality and portions.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
