Zusammenfassung

Rubybrunch is seeking a kitchen team member to accurately prepare hot food products and portion food prior to cooking. You will also plate and garnish cooked items, while maintaining a clean, sanitary work area and following our standards.

The role requires at least 1 year of kitchen experience, clear communication with managers and staff, and adherence to portions and methods. This position offers a day-shift schedule and opportunities for growth within the Ruby Krewe family.

• Ability to follow Ruby standards and recipes consistently, ensuring quality.
• Ability to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and front-of-house team.

Job Summary:

Accurately and efficiently prepare hot food products as well as prepare and portion food prior to cooking. Responsible for performing other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates.

What does it take to be a Ruby Krewe Member?

• A firm belief that butter and bacon make everything better!
• Able to follow Ruby Standards and recipes consistently - responsible for the quality of products served
• Complies with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work area
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and front of house krewe members
• Be able to reach, bend stoop, and frequently lift up to 50lbs
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
