Ann's Choice by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Prep Cook/Utility Worker to support culinary teams in state‑of‑the‑art kitchens. You will assist in preparing menu items, maintain cleanliness, and help ensure resident satisfaction through high-quality food and teamwork.

The role emphasizes safe cooking techniques, efficient kitchen operations, and the opportunity to grow with the company as we expand our communities. Weekend/holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen prep and safety practices.
• Ability to work in a team in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Comfort with handling kitchen equipment and ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the consistent preparation of all food items according to proper safety and cooking techniques
• Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen and work station
• Use your culinary talents to prepare and assemble high quality menu items that drive resident satisfaction
• Provide exceptional organization and cleanliness for kitchen, dining and storage areas, equipment, and food preparation areas
• Support stock/utility team members with inventory, receiving, verification, stocking, and tracking
• Work safely using designated safety equipment, including personal protective equipment (PPE)

Location: Ann's Choice by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as a Prep Cook/Utility Worker if you’re passionate about food and teamwork, with culinary experience or care about keeping our kitchen running seamlessly. Your efforts will enhance efficiency and elevate our culinary creations, making you a vital member of our dynamic crew.

You will contribute to our Signature Dining Programs, engaging in à la minute cooking and creating chef-inspired dishes, while working with a dedicated team in state‑of‑the‑art kitchens using top‑notch equipment.

• Compensation: starting at $17.00/hr for prep cook and $15.50/hr for utility worker

What you will need

• Must be able to work some weekends and holidays.
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, from hot kitchens to cold refrigerators and freezers.
