Ann’s Choice by Erickson Senior Living seeks a Prep Cook/Utility Worker to contribute to Signature Dining Programs in state‑of‑the‑art kitchens. The role emphasizes teamwork, food preparation, and keeping the kitchen running smoothly for residents.

Starting pay is $17.00/hr for prep cook and $15.50/hr for utility worker, with benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage, PTO, 401k and meal discounts. Weekend/holiday availability is required.

Join our team as a Prep Cook/Utility Worker if you’re passionate about food and teamwork, with culinary experience or care about keeping our kitchen running seamlessly. Your efforts will enhance efficiency and elevate our culinary creations, making you a vital member of our dynamic crew.

. You will contribute to our Signature Dining Programs, engaging in à la minute cooking and creating chef-inspired dishes, while working with a dedicated team in state-of-the-art kitchens and using top-notch equipment.

How you will make an impact

• Assist in the consistent preparation all food items according to proper safety and cooking techniques
• Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen and work station
• Use your culinary talents to prepare and assemble high quality menu items that drive resident satisfaction
• Provide exceptional organization and cleanliness for kitchen, dining and storage areas, equipment, and food preparation areas
• Support stock/utility team members with inventory, receiving, verification, stocking, and tracking
• Work safely using designated safety equipment, including personal protective equipment (PPE)

What you will need

• Must be able to work some weekends and holidays.
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, from hot kitchens to cold refrigerators and freezers
