Responsibilities
  • Labels and stocks all ingredients
  • Washes, chops and mixes large amounts of vegetables, meats and other ingredients
  • Ensures ingredients are fresh and checks storage temperature at regular intervals
  • Follows all relevant nutrition and sanitation guidelines
  • Consistently follows precise recipes
  • Disposes spoiled food and other waste material
  • Maintains cleanliness and ensures that the kitchen is compliant with health and safety regulations
Qualifications
  • Have an excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment
  • Execute tasks with precision and speed in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
  • Effective communication skills
  • Handle multiple tasks efficiently in a high-pressure environment
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
