POWDR's Snowbird Resort is seeking a Prep Cook (Cook 1) to support the kitchen team at the Steak Pit inside Snowbird Center. This full-time role requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays and contributes directly to guest satisfaction through quality prep and teamwork.
You will prep ingredients, maintain clean, organized work areas, and collaborate with the Chef and Sous Chef to uphold safety and menu standards in a fast-paced alpine environment.

AsaCook1,you will support the kitchen operations by preppingingredients,performing basic cooking duties, andmaintaininga clean, organized, and safe work environment.You’llplay a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy high-quality meals while contributing to a strong kitchen team culture.
Followallfood quality, safety, preparation, nutritionguidelines
Wash, chop, and measure ingredients as directed
Stock, label, and organize ingredients for easy access
Assistwith basic food preparation
Support other kitchen positions as needed
Keep kitchen areas clean and organized: sanitize surfaces, wash dishes, and take out trash
Communicate clearly with Chef, Sous Chef, and kitchen team
Participatein on-the-job-training and skill development
High School Diploma orEquivalent
Previouskitchenexperience is a plus
ValidFood Handler Permitorwillingnessto obtain one
Basic knowledge of kitchen health and safety rules
Must be at least 21 years of age
A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
Varies depending on business levels,includesweekends and holidays
Must be prepared for occasional overnight stays due to weather related road closures
Mustbe able to travel to Snowbird Resort
Must be able to liftand carry up to25lbs
Must be able to stand forlong periodsof time
