Job summary

Holiday by Atria is seeking a kitchen/food service team member to assist with meal preparation and presentation for residents. You will work closely with our Executive Chef to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include following recipes, ensuring proper handling of food, and providing excellent resident dining experiences. Training and advancement opportunities are available within a values-driven team.

Qualifications

• Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English required.
• Food handlers permit as required by law/local standards.
• ServSafe certification or equivalent is required.
• Ability to follow and read recipes and production guides.
• Knowledge of food handling, preparation, cooking and service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and presentation of meals.
• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to keep residents satisfied.
• Maintain kitchen clean, safe and sanitary at all times.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules and company standards.
• Ensure food is received, stored, and prepared properly.
• Assist with preparing meals and snacks according to recipes and guides.
• Keep kitchen floors clean and trash disposed of.
• Assist with transportation and storage of food and supplies.
• Attend pre-meal stand-up in the kitchen.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
