Prep Cook - Part-time - Tahoe Blue Event Center

Position Overview

The Prep Cook assists in food preparation and production for venue events. Responsibilities include set-up, sanitation, cleaning, and closing of workstations. The environment is fast-paced and dynamic. Reliable attendance and flexibility to work event-based schedules are essential.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly wage ranges from $17 to $23. Benefits include a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions. This is an evergreen role; applications are accepted continuously.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist with food delivery to designated areas.
  2. Follow prep lists created by chefs.
  3. Prepare cooking ingredients.
  4. Prepare and plate dishes such as salads, entrees, and desserts.
  5. Ensure proper food storage.
  6. Maintain a positive work environment and comply with health and safety standards.
  7. Keep the kitchen clean and organized.
