Job Title: Prep Cook

Location: Mayo Clinic - 1101 Moulton and Parsons Drive, Saint James, MN 56081 (Online applications accepted only)

Schedule: Part-time; days vary, rotating weekends and holidays. 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm during weekdays, 10:30 am to 7:30 pm on weekends. More details upon interview.

Requirements: Prior culinary experience preferred.

Pay Range: $18.50 to $18.90 per hour

Job Summary

Prepares food and serves customers in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Obtain daily production schedule and requirements from the Chef.
2. Prepare items following recipes and quantities.
3. Complete and follow production worksheets and waste logs. Taste meals for quality.
4. Operate and clean equipment after use.
5. Store, label, and date food items per policy, following HACCP guidelines.
6. Complete required documentation and reports.
7. Follow health and sanitation regulations.
8. Take customer orders and prepare quick items.
9. Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
10. Use approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
11. Resolve customer concerns and perform other duties as assigned.
