We are hiring immediately for a part-time PREP COOK position.

Location: Mayo Clinic - 1101 Moulton and Parsons Drive, Saint James, MN 56081
Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Part-time; days may vary, rotating weekends and holidays required. 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm during the week, and 10:30 am to 7:30 pm on weekends. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Prior culinary experience preferred.

Pay Range: $18.50 to $18.90 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food and serves customers according to applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Obtain daily production schedule and requirements from the Chef.
2. Prepare items on production sheets following recipes and quantities.
3. Complete and follow daily worksheets and waste logs; taste meals for quality.
4. Operate and clean equipment after use.
5. Store, label, and date all food items following policy and HACCP guidelines.
6. Complete required documentation and reports.
7. Follow health and sanitation regulations.
8. Take orders from customers and prepare quick-prep items.
9. Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
10. Use approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and safety.
11. Resolve customer concerns and perform other duties as assigned.
