Summary

The Prep Cook will ensure high-quality food production, precise recipe adherence, cleanliness, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Able to obtain and maintain a valid food service permit.
• Knowledge of prep sheets, food handling, and allergen management.
• Adhere to shelf life guidelines as per recipes.
• Follow health department regulations for food storage.
• Manage station readiness, product utilization, and rotation.
• Ensure food quality standards are met or exceeded.
• Record waste and minimize it.
• Prepare station for business levels.
• Practice "clean as you go" techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Demonstrate safe knife skills and equipment use.
• Know menu items and label/dates for prepared foods.
• Prepare sections on time, follow recipes.
• Assist team for order accuracy and speed.
• Engage positively with fans, coworkers, and managers.
• Stay informed about products, promotions, and events.
• Follow supervisor directions and attend training.
• Work varied shifts, including late hours, holidays, weekends.
• Work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage time effectively and communicate well.
• Follow safety guidelines, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds.
