Job summary

Flik Independent School Dining at Mount Pisgah Christian School in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a full-time Prep Cook. You will prepare items from production sheets, follow approved recipes, and help ensure food safety and quality in a fast-paced school kitchen. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–3:00 pm.

Prior experience in service line, salad prep, prep, and cooking is preferred. The role includes serving meals, operating equipment, and maintaining HACCP compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in service line and salad prep preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and production sheets.
• Knowledge of HACCP guidelines and food safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepare items according to production sheets and recipes.
• Taste meals to ensure quality and portion control.
• Operate and clean equipment per department procedures.
• Store, label and date food items; follow HACCP guidelines.
• Complete required documentation and logs; maintain sanitation standards.
• Serve meals and handle customer orders efficiently at multiple stations.
