We are looking to hire a Prep Cook to join our team. The Prep Cook is responsible for the preparation of well-presented meals in a timely fashion according to the scheduled menu and/or resident requests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Performs all aspects of meal preparation, cooking, and presentation as assigned.
• Completes prep work as required for future meals.
• Assists in the completion of the order sheets to maintain the appropriate level of supplies and inventory.
• Maintains refrigerator and freezer in an organized manner and as required by the health department.
• Assists in the storage of stock items that have been delivered.
• Maintains a clean and safe workspace and work environment. Sweeps and mops the kitchen area as assigned.
• Adheres to all food handling regulations.
• Knows and uses provided Universal Precautions and Personal Protective Equipment, according to requirements established by OSHA.
