Job summary

Southern Rock Restaurants is hiring a Back of the House Team Member at a franchised McAlister’s Deli location. You will prepare quality food in a clean, fast-paced environment, following recipes and portion standards.

Key responsibilities include reading orders, preparing items efficiently, keeping areas and equipment clean, and adhering to food safety standards while working with a team to ensure smooth kitchen service. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Reliable, positive, and team-oriented.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Able to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Restaurant experience is helpful, but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and menu items using recipes and portion standards.
• Read orders and prepare food accurately and efficiently.
• Keep food preparation areas, equipment, and workstations clean and stocked.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
• Work with the team to keep kitchen service running smoothly.
