Limelight Hawaii is Honolulu’s newest entertainment and dining venue, offering cocktails, à la carte dinner service, and banquet events for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Prep Cooks / Kitchen Stewards to support kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring the culinary team has the tools and environment needed to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previously stewarding or prep cook experience preferred, but training provided.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, floors, walls, and work areas.
• Operate dish machines, glass washers, and cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Assist in waste removal, recycling, and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Support kitchen readiness by ensuring all stations are stocked with clean wares and supplies.
• Assist chefs and line cooks with basic food preparation including washing, chopping, portioning, and labeling ingredients.
• Set up prep stations and stock with necessary supplies for daily operations.
• Follow safe food handling and sanitation practices at all times.
• Assist with banquet and event preparation, including bulk portioning and setup.
• Support new dish rollouts and menu tastings as directed by the culinary team.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, floors, walls, and work areas.
