Job summary

Eataly North America is hiring a Prep Cook to assemble cold foods and prep ingredients for kitchens. You will follow recipes, maintain portion sizes, and help ensure health standards while supporting cafe teams. Onsite at our New York location with flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of kitchen experience.
• Basic math skills.
• Good knife skills and finger dexterity to use small tools and utensils adeptly.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Washes, peels, slices and mixes vegetables, fruits, meats, cheeses and other ingredients for salads, cold plates, side dishes, entrees, pizza and desserts.
• Cleans all utensils, preparation equipment and counters required for production.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
• Prepares pizza alla pala, panini and dessert according to specific recipes.
