Boka Restaurant Group and Executive Chef Chris Pandel are currently seeking AM Pastry Prep Cooks to join the team of Swift & Sons, located in Chicago's famed Fulton Market District!

AM Pastry Prep Responsibilities:
  • Produce pastry items while maintaining safety and sanitation standards
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely
  • Demonstrate basic pastry techniques and knife skills
  • Prepare, stock, and maintain stations with proper sanitation
  • Follow standardized recipes to ensure quality
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization, following FIFO procedures
  • Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures promptly
Qualifications:
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Multitasking skills and calm demeanor

This position is ideal for dedicated individuals seeking to provide excellent service and be part of a hardworking, fun team.

Physical Requirements:
  • Lift up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Use tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals safely and effectively
  • Stand and walk throughout the shift, including navigating stairs and uneven surfaces
  • Expose to hot and cold environments
