Job summary

TAO Group Hospitality in Tampa is seeking a dedicated Prep Cook to support our opening team. You will prepare cooking ingredients, follow TAO standards, and ensure proper labeling, storage, and sanitation at all times.

You will work with chefs and staff to stock stations, complete opening and closing duties, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen in a fast-paced environment. Prior prep/line cook experience is preferred, and flexibility for shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as prep/line cook in a high-volume culinary operation.
• Follow recipes and TAO Standards precisely.
• Labeling, FIFO, and proper storage knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cooking ingredients by washing, chopping, cutting and other meal preparations.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the station, kitchen, and venue.
• Label and store all products following FIFO and company standards.
• Complete opening/closing duties and production lists as directed.
