Job summary

The Water Grill Santa Monica is seeking a Prep Cook to support the kitchen team with recipe adherence, quality control, and sanitation. You will work closely with opening managers to set up each shift for success and cross-train across recipes in a fast-paced environment.

As part of a team, you will learn our kitchen standards, follow guidelines, and contribute to excellent guest experiences. Minimum 18 years old, 1 year prep experience, and a Food Handler Card are required.

Qualifications

• Essential qualifications include ability to communicate English verbally and in writing.
• At least 1 year of experience in a prep cook or similar role.
• High school graduate and valid Food Handlers Card required.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Prepare necessary food items for meal periods and next service.
• Monitor cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station.
• Prep food for scheduled meal periods and follow supervisor's instructions.
• Notify management of pertinent shift information.
