Job summary

Levy Restaurants at Grand Casino Arena is seeking a Prep Cook to support high-quality food service for Minnesota Wild games, Frost games, concerts, and events. You will assist with ingredient prep, sauces, sides, and entrees, following established recipes.

You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, maintain clean stations, and cooperate with chefs to ensure timely production while adhering to safety standards and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current ServSafe Food Handling Certification.
• Experience in a professional kitchen is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate recipe following.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Join Levy Restaurants at Grand Casino Arena as a Prep Cook, where you'll be an integral part of the culinary team, supporting the preparation of high-quality food for Minnesota Wild games, Minnesota Frost games, concerts, and other premier events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and measuring seasonings, to support kitchen operations.
• Assist with the preparation of menu items, such as sauces, sides, and entrees, according to chef instructions and established recipes.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food production.
• Monitor inventory levels of prepared items and communicate replenishment needs to supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must hold a current ServSafe Food Handling Certification.
• Previous experience in a professional kitchen or food preparation role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
