Job summary

Zuma Restaurant in Miami is seeking a Pastry Cook to assist in preparing a wide variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods, following recipes and guidelines set by the Head Pastry Chef to delight guests.

You will collaborate with a large kitchen team, uphold Zuma's standards of excellence, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required, contributing to a world-class dining experience at our Miami venue.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Pastry Cook or in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting.
• Solid pastry techniques including mixing, baking, piping, and decorating.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and production of a diverse range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
• Execute precise measurements and techniques to maintain consistency and quality.
• Prepare and assemble components for plated desserts, including sauces, creams, garnishes.
• Bake, decorate, and finish pastries and desserts with attention to detail.
