We are hiring immediately for a full-time PREP COOK position.

Location: Westminster School - 995 Hopmeadow Road, Simsbury, CT 06070. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Sunday through Thursday, 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirements: Previous food prep and culinary experience preferred.
*Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available

Pay Range: $18.00 to $20.00

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare food and serve customers according to applicable standards and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Obtain daily production schedule and requirements from the Chef.
  2. Prepare items following recipes and quantities.
  3. Complete and follow worksheets and logs; taste meals for quality.
  4. Operate and clean equipment after each use.
  5. Store, label, and date food items per policy, following HACCP guidelines.
  6. Complete all documentation, reports, and logs.
  7. Follow health and sanitation regulations.
  8. Take customer orders and prepare quick items.
  9. Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
  10. Use approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
  11. Resolve customer concerns and perform other duties as assigned.
