Join to apply for the PREP COOK (FULL TIME) role at Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services.

We are hiring immediately for full-time PREP COOK positions.

Location: Emmanuel College, 181 Spring Street, Franklin Springs, GA 30639

Schedule: Full-time; open availability preferred. Hours and days may vary; more details upon interview.

Pay Range: $14.00 - $14.50 per hour.

Requirements: Restaurant experience required.

Job Summary

Prepares food and serves customers in accordance with applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Obtain daily production schedule and requirements from the Chef.
  2. Prepare items following recipes and quantities.
  3. Complete and follow production worksheets and waste logs; taste meals for quality.
  4. Operate and clean equipment after use.
  5. Store, label, and date food items following policies and HACCP guidelines.
  6. Complete documentation and reports as required.
  7. Follow health and sanitation regulations.
  8. Take customer orders and prepare quick-serve items.
  9. Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
  10. Use approved recipes and standards for quality and safety.
  11. Resolve customer concerns.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
