Job summary

Burrito Shak Cape Coral is seeking dependable Prep Cooks to help open and operate our new location. The role focuses on food preparation, organization, and maintaining kitchen standards to ensure smooth service.

The position offers an approximately 25–35 hour schedule across 5–6 days, with additional earnings through the team tip-sharing program and opportunities to grow with the restaurant as we expand.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of kitchen experience or food preparation preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow Burrito Shak standards to prepare fresh ingredients.
• Wash, peel, chop, slice, and portion vegetables and proteins.
• Weigh and measure ingredients accurately.
• Prepare sauces, salsas, and other menu components.
• Sanitize and prepare equipment, workstations, and food prep areas.
• Label, date, rotate, and organize inventory following food safety procedures.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization throughout the shift.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
• Ensure prep items are completed on schedule and support daily operations.
