Margaux Brasserie in the United States is seeking a meticulous Prep Cook to support the culinary team with ingredient prep, mise en place, and recipe execution. Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Prep Cook in a high-volume kitchen.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen terminology.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain mise en place.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients according to recipes and guidelines.
• Execute basic cooking tasks such as chopping, slicing, dicing and mincing vegetables, fruits, meats and herbs.
• Prepare sauces, stocks and dressings following established recipes.
• Clean, peel and trim fruits and vegetables for use in dishes.
• Properly measure and portion ingredients for cooking and baking.
• Organize and maintain a well-stocked kitchen with properly labeled items.
