Morning Pointe Senior Living in Knoxville is seeking a Cook/Prep Cook to assist our kitchen team in preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner for residents with care and attention to quality. You will present yourself professionally and work with a compassionate attitude to support our residents' daily meals.

Qualifications

• One year of commercial kitchen/cooking experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to lift 50 lbs.
• The ability to use kitchen equipment safely.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Clean and maintain stations while practicing good safety and sanitation.
• Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment.
• Restock items as needed throughout the shift.
• Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes.
• Prep Cooks support the team and assist in other areas as needed.
