Job summary

WOB Bar & Kitchen is seeking a detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare ingredients, follow recipes, label and stock items, and assist the Kitchen Manager in maintaining safety, sanitation and efficient service.

The ideal candidate has proven prep cook experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment while communicating effectively with the team. Flexible schedule and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

Experience as prep cook or similar role.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Ability to follow recipes accurately and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
Team player with excellent communication skills.
Must be able follow directions of Kitchen Manager.

Responsibilities

Ensure all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to WOB recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
Follow the prep list created by Kitchen management.
Label and stock all ingredients so they are organized and accessible.
Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
Ensure all food and station items are stored properly.
Maintain clean work environment.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
