Job summary

Delaware North’s Patina Group is hiring a part-time Prep Cook at Banners Kitchen and Tap in Boston, MA. You will prepare items for guests, measure and portion, and support a fast-paced dining team in delivering great guest experiences.

The role offers $20.00–$21.00 per hour with weekly pay, and a benefits package including training, employee discounts, and flexible schedules. You’ll work under the guidance of the Chef and maintain cleanliness and safety in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Prior food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets.
• Ability to use kitchen tools safely (knives and small equipment).
• Ability to follow instructions.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve storage items necessary, and measure, portion, and prepare all food items, complying with all quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures.
• Communicate with the Chef for any special instructions or training.
• Maintain food, utensils, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
• Performs opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelines.
• Follow all safety, security, kitchen, and ServSafe procedures, upholding all health codes and sanitation regulations.
