Xperience Restaurant Group (XRG) is hiring a Prep Cook in Scottsdale to join our hospitality team. You will prepare hot and cold foods, follow prep sheets, and assist Chefs in service while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 18+ years of age.
• Possession of or ability to possess all state required work cards.
• Minimum of one year related experience.
• Proper food storage knowledge.
• Proper lifting techniques.
• Guest relations.
• Sanitation and safety.
• Full service kitchen operations.
• Ability to communicate effectively and assertively in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all hot and cold restaurant foods.
• Prepare prep sheet including items to be prepared or ordered.
• Follow prep sheet and communicate with Chefs; ensure prep times are met.
• Wrap, label, date and store all food items properly.
• Set up, operate and clean kitchen machinery and store it properly.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment maintenance and handling.
• Minimize costs; use resources efficiently.
• Demonstrate knowledge in all kitchen areas.
• Read measures, execute recipes, and process service tickets.
• Apply knife skills for service and preparation.
• Maintain menu knowledge and attention to detail.
• Assist Chefs during service.
• Communicate with management, Chefs and staff to address issues.
• Complete opening/closing duties.
• Report equipment failure or hazards to management.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.
