Xperience Restaurant Group (XRG) is seeking a Prep Cook to join our Scottsdale team. You will help prepare ingredients, sauces, and simple dishes, and support chefs in a fast-paced, full-service kitchen.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent experience.
• Eligibility to work in the United States confirmed.
• Valid driver's license and transportation to shift times.
• Minimum 1 year related kitchen experience.
• Strong English communication, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold restaurant foods according to menus.
• Create prep sheets detailing items to prepare or order.
• Follow prep sheets; coordinate with Chefs to meet prep times.
• Wrap, label, date, and store items to maintain freshness.
• Set up, operate, and clean kitchen equipment and store properly.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment maintenance and safe use.
• Minimize waste and manage costs through efficient material use.
• Demonstrate knowledge across all kitchen areas.
• Read measurements, follow recipes, and process service tickets.
• Apply knife skills for prep and service.
• Maintain menu knowledge and attention to detail.
• Support Chefs during service and address issues with staff.
• Communicate with management to address guest needs.
• Move furniture as directed by management when needed.
• Comply with safety, health procedures and liquor laws.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Ensure proper checkout procedures and cleanliness.
• Report equipment failures or hazards immediately.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned.
