Job summary

Desert Diamond Casino White Tanks is seeking an entry-level Cook/Kitchen Steward under direct supervision to learn prepping, cooking techniques, and station production across Food & Beverage venues. You will follow recipes, maintain clean, organized work areas, and comply with health and safety regulations while supporting a fast-paced kitchen team.

The role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to stand for long periods in a hot kitchen.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED preferred; 6 months kitchen experience is a plus.
• Must be 18 years or older; pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background check.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license as required.

Responsibilities

• Learns to prepare a variety of foods according to menu and demand.
• Performs tasks set forth by superiors.
• Learns knife skills and cooking techniques.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and sanitized work area; follows health/safety regulations.
