Bossy Beulah’s in Ballantyne is hiring a Prep Cook to support daily prep and production to keep service running smoothly. You will prepare ingredients from scratch, complete batch recipes, and maintain organization and cleanliness in a fast-paced kitchen.

The role offers cross-training to learn line stations and support service when needed, with pay starting at $13 per hour plus shared tips, typically earning $16–$19 per hour with tips.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and readiness for physical kitchen tasks.
• Comfort with raw chicken, produce, and high-volume prep.

Responsibilities

• Prep fresh cut fries from scratch for daily service.
• Clean, portion, and prepare chicken to standards.
• Dice and prepare fresh produce for batch recipes and daily use.
• Complete recipes accurately for sauces, sides, and items.
• Label, date, rotate product using FIFO.
• Keep prep areas clean, stocked, and organized.
• Set up mise en place for smooth service.
• Assist opening/closing duties and station reset.
• Learn line stations and support service when needed.
• Work with urgency and attention to detail in a fast-paced kitchen.
