Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a restaurant.
• Experience in culinary kitchen; pastry & baking preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Basic vegetable prep – peeling, slicing, dicing, and portioning.
• Basic sauce prep – stocks, dressings, vinaigrettes.
• Basic cooking of bulk prep items (braised meats, soups, sides).
• Minor butchering – processing whole poultry and fish.
• Baking & pastry preparation.
• General cleaning of kitchen, equipment, floors, walls, coolers, and freezers.
• Dishwashing – all kitchen staff wash dishes.
• Follow Safe Staff sanitary compliance in all areas of the kitchen.
• Stock supplies and maintain areas in order.
• Assist with plate-up during banquets.
• Load/unload deliveries and maintain cleanliness of trash areas.
