Responsibilities

• Follow the prep list created by chefs to plan duties.
• Label and stock ingredients so shelves are organized and accessible.
• Measure ingredients and seasonings for cooking.
• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping vegetables, and cutting meat.
• Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces and parboiling.
• Prepare simple dishes like salads and entrees.
• Maintain a clean, orderly kitchen; wash dishes and sanitize surfaces.
• Ensure proper storage of all food and items; follow sanitation guidelines.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
