Hometown Coffee & Juice is seeking a Prep Cook to support a fast-paced kitchen by preparing ingredients and menu components accurately, safely, and efficiently. You will follow recipes, prep lists, and rotation practices to ensure quality and speed across service.

The role emphasizes strong organization, safety, and teamwork, with opportunities to grow as our cafes stay aligned with high standards. Training is available for the right person.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of prep or kitchen experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices expected.
• Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced kitchen and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Execute prep tasks accurately and on time per recipes and standards.
• Maintain clean, organized prep area and proper labeling/storage of items.
• Communicate needs or issues to kitchen leadership promptly.
• Follow FIFO, dating, storage, and rotation practices for safety and quality.
