Qualifications

• Prior prep cook or kitchen experience preferred.
• Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work quickly in a high-volume kitchen.
• Reliable, punctual and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and prep lists.
• Wash, chop, slice, and dice vegetables, proteins, and other ingredients.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation throughout each shift.
• Follow food safety, storage, and labeling procedures (FIFO).
• Assist line cooks during high-volume periods.
• Monitor stock and communicate low inventory to leadership.
• Adhere to health code regulations and sanitation standards.
