Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2+ years of restaurant, food service, or related experience preferred.
• Food handling knowledge and basic cooking skills.
• Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and food safety standards.
• Ability to lift moderate amounts of weight frequently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Sense of urgency and willingness to assist team members as needed.
• Results-oriented with the ability to serve customers with humility and be a steward of Nation's Best's values.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining adaptable and flexible.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares daily food items and ingredients for service
• Sets up and stocks the kitchen with all items needed for the day
• Prepares and cooks food orders accurately, following recipes, presentation standards, and any special instructions
• Assists with preparing food items for daily specials
• Restocks ingredients and supplies throughout the day and at the end of each shift
• Receives, stocks, rotates, and organizes inventory and freight
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and work area
• Cleans grills, cooking equipment, and food preparation areas at the end of each shift
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors and assists with general kitchen cleaning
• Assists with inventory counts as needed
• Supports team members and performs additional duties as assigned
