Job summary

Delaware North's Patina Group is hiring a part-time Prep Cook at Leatherby's Restaurant in Costa Mesa, California. As a Prep Cook, you will be preparing food items for our established guests, supporting great guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

You will follow recipes, communicate with the Chef for special instructions, maintain cleanliness, and perform opening/closing duties while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Prior food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets.
• Ability to use kitchen tools safely (knives and small equipment).
• Ability to follow instructions.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve storage items necessary, and measure, portion, and prepare all food items, complying with quality standards and procedures.
• Communicate with the Chef for any special instructions or training.
• Maintain food, utensils, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed and per guidelines.
• Follow all safety, security, kitchen, and ServSafe procedures and health codes.
