Job summary

Hussong's Mexican Cantina in Las Vegas is hiring an experienced Prep Cook to join our lively, family-like hospitality team. You will prepare and cook a variety of dishes for restaurant guests, while maintaining cleanliness and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have prep cook experience and ServeSafe or Food Handler certification (or willingness to attain). You must be able to lift 30+ lbs and stand for 8+ hours. Compensation ranges from $12.00 to $16.00 per hour.

• Previous experience as a prep cook preferred.
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification (or willingness to attain).
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs
• Ability to work standing for 8+ hours

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean prep areas to ensure safe handling practices.
• Maintain freshness through proper rotation and labeling in walk-in.
• Prepare and season dishes as required for service.
• Respond to guest feedback with urgency and professionalism.
• Coordinate with incoming shift on priority prep items.
